Gupta, who has managed operations in Arizona and California, is recognized for her meticulous oversight of garbage and recycling services, along with her ambitious pursuit of zero-waste initiatives. Her most recent position as the Solid Waste Programs Division Manager for the City of Sunnyvale, CA, saw her juggling multi-million-dollar budgets, an endeavor she managed with exceptional attention to trust and fiscal responsibility. Gupta's fresh appointment was motivated by her sterling track record of propelling environmental change and enhancing how cities handle their refuse.
With an impressive educational background flaunting dual master’s degrees and several certifications, including CPM® and PMP®, Gupta's expertise is underscored by her active involvement in numerous professional organizations such as SWANA, ICMA, and the CRRA.
