The spirit of the season is set to come alive in Shoreline with the help of some of the town's bravest. The Shoreline Fire Department is dispatching a holiday duo most have heard about only in tales, Santa and his Fire Elves, who are blazing a trail of joy through the north end of the community on Christmas morning. According to a social media post from the department, residents should be on the lookout for sirens and yuletide tunes announcing their arrival.

"When you hear the music, head outside to say hello and grab some candy canes and treats from Santa and his crew," announced the Shoreline Fire Department. To make sure to safely reach as many people as possible, the event will feature Shoreline's old Kenworth and a ladder truck, both of which will be operated by off-duty firefighters volunteering their time on a day traditionally reserved for family gatherings. The aim is to forge a wave of goodwill and spread holiday cheer to those in the community.

The fire department has expressed gratitude to the Shoreline Union Firefighters 1760 for their role in orchestrating the festive rounds. This initiative is "completely done by our firefighters volunteering their time on Christmas Day away from their families to bring joy to our community," stated the Shoreline Fire Department.

While the Firefighters' yule convoy cannot make it down every street, the Shoreline Fire Department social media post indicates they love seeing "as many as possible."
