The Downtown Sacramento Ice Rink will offer three free skate days on Dec. 27, Jan. 3, and Jan. 10 at Ali Youssefi Square at 7th and K streets. According to ABC10, free skating is available from 10 a.m. to noon, with regular rates applying outside those hours—$15 for adults and $8 for children.

In addition to skating, the Downtown Sacramento Partnership will host two crafting workshops titled Crafting with Kindness, presented by Dignity Health, on Jan. 4 and 11 from noon to 2 p.m. Participants can create jewelry and animal portraits using upcycled materials with guidance from local artists at no additional cost.
The rink will remain open through Jan. 19, with varying hours and pricing. Skate rentals are included with admission and are available in youth sizes starting at size 8. Additional details, including group events, can be found at DowntownSac.org/icerink.
