The City of St. Augustine announced that the STAR Circulator service on Anastasia Island will not operate on New Year's Eve due to events at St. Augustine Beach. Alternative transportation options will be available for those attending the Nights of Lights festivities.

Historic Tours of America will offer a complimentary park-and-ride shuttle to St. Augustine Beach for the New Year’s Eve fireworks. This service does not provide nighttime transportation to downtown St. Augustine for the Nights of Lights event.

Regular STAR Circulator service will resume on January 1, 2026, operating from 5 PM to midnight nightly through January 11, 2026. The free service includes routes along A1A Beach Blvd. with a drop-off point near the east side of the Bridge of Lions at Gerado Street.

The Downtown Connector will resume its regular schedule on January 12, 2026, operating from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Detailed information on service updates and schedules is available on the City of St. Augustine’s website, according to a social media post.
