
As winter sets in across St. Johns County, local officials are reminding residents that this season is important for bird populations. A social media post from the county noted that many birds are either passing through or staying locally during their seasonal migrations.
"Winter is an active season for bird life in St. Johns County 🦆 as many species pass through or settle in for the cooler months," tthe Facebook post stated, emphasizing the importance of conservation.
Residents are advised to water lawns only when needed and to repair leaks promptly to help conserve water.
