
Residents of St. Johns County recently showed strong support for environmental care by turning out in large numbers to safely dispose of household hazardous waste and unused electronics. The event, organized by the St. Johns County Solid Waste Division, was held at Flagler Estates Road & Water Control District, with over 220 cars participating.
The event collected 25,440 pounds of waste, aimed at reducing hazardous materials in local land and water. According to St. Johns County’s social media post, the turnout set a record for the community collection day.
