Over the past weekend, St. Petersburg firefighters responded to a significant residential fire. According to a social media post by St. Petersburg Fire Rescue, crews arrived to find heavy smoke and flames coming from a home’s garage and worked quickly to contain the blaze.
The St. Petersburg Fire Rescue stated on their social media post, "All occupants were able to safely evacuate, and one person was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries."
The cause of the garage fire remains under investigation, and authorities are continuing to gather details.
