The Stanislaus County Sheriff's Office conducted a proactive DUI Blitz as part of its Winter Mobilization campaign, resulting in over 200 traffic stops and 30 arrests, with 20 specifically for driving under the influence. A total of 37 DUI investigations were launched during the operation to improve holiday season safety, as reported by the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Office.
Officers also focused on other traffic violations, issuing 146 citations for offenses such as unlicensed or suspended driving. The operation shows the Sheriff's Office's commitment to reducing impaired driving and keeping local roads safer, as stated by the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Office.
According to the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Office on their Facebook page, the DUI Blitz in Stanislaus County involved multiple agencies, including the Modesto Police Department, California Highway Patrol – Modesto, and departments from Riverbank, Patterson, Ceres, and Turlock. Stanislaus Regional 911 and Doctors Medical Center – Modesto also provided support. The operation aimed to prevent accidents during busy travel periods and enforce public safety.
