
Tampa residents can look forward to a stretch of mostly sunny skies and mild temperatures this week, according to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service (NWS) in Tampa. While early morning fog seems to be a recurring guest, the days are reported to break into sunshine with the high temperatures teetering comfortably in the upper 70s for most of the week.
After morning fog lifts, highs today should reach around 77 °F, according to the NWS. Patchy morning fog is expected over the next few days, with nighttime lows in the upper 50s to low 60s.
The NWS predicts winds shifting from calm to west-northwest in the afternoons. Sunday’s high is expected to reach 78 °F with light, variable winds.
Monday will be similar to previous days, with a noticeable cooldown on Tuesday. The high on Tuesday will be near 62 °F with a consistent north wind around 10 mph, according to the NWS.
Sunny days and mostly clear nights are expected for the rest of the week. Tampa will greet the new year with sunshine and a high of 66 °F on New Year’s Day, continuing into a pleasant weekend.
