A suspect, 34-year-old Gerren Miles Crosson, has been taken into custody and faces murder charges in the 176th Criminal District Court following a fatal stabbing at a residence on 11919 Harristown Drive in Houston. The incident occurred on Wednesday, with Houston police responding to an assault call around 2:30 a.m., according to the City of Houston.
Officers found an elderly woman with multiple stab wounds, who later identified Crosson as the attacker before dying at a local hospital. The victim’s name has not been released, pending confirmation by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, as reported by the City of Houston.
Houston police say officers found Crosson at a residence and detained him without incident. The HPD Homicide Division, led by Sergeant K. Meek and Detective E.
