
Yesterday morning, Pittsburgh authorities were called to the Perry North neighborhood after receiving reports of an unresponsive woman. According to the City of Pittsburgh Public Safety Blotter, the police, fire department, and EMS responded to the 100 block of Watson Boulevard around 2:00 a.m.
Medics at the scene pronounced the victim dead shortly after their arrival, finding her unconscious and not breathing. While the investigation is still in its early stages, officials have stated that the incident appears suspicious. Not yet made any arrests, the Violent Crime Unit Detectives are looking into the circumstances surrounding her death.
As of now, the identity of the woman, along with the exact cause and manner of death, is pending further details from the Office of the Allegheny County Medical Examiner.
