A theft occurred at the 4G Seller boutique in SoHo, with merchandise valued at approximately $2 million reported stolen. The incident took place yesterday morning when the store was broken into, and high-end items were taken from the luxury retailer known for supplying collections to celebrity clients. According to ABC7NY, surveillance footage shows the suspects removing the items quickly and leaving the scene before authorities arrived.

ABC7NY reports that the suspects were dressed in construction-style outfits with masks and headlamps, completing the theft in about four and a half minutes. The NYPD arrived 91 seconds after being alerted, but the perpetrators had already fled. Tommy Macari, partner and brand ambassador of 4G Seller, stated, "If you're seen in a one-of-one piece, we're going to figure it out."

A report compared the incident to a recent heist at the Louvre Museum. Four individuals entered the 4G Seller boutique, which operates by appointment only, and stole high-value items, including unique clothing pieces worn by clients such as Drake and Mark Wahlberg. "They had a spotter outside, they had a getaway driver," Macari told The New York Post.

The stolen merchandise primarily consisted of one-of-a-kind items, making them highly recognizable and traceable. Surveillance footage showed the suspects breaking a window to gain entry. As Macari stated to ABC7NY, "People wear these clothes to be seen in it. And, you know, if you're seen in a one-of-one piece, we're going to figure it out." Despite the theft, 4G Seller maintained most of its appointments on the day of the incident while NYPD crime scene detectives processed the scene.

Residents in the area, including Guy Story, who lives above the boutique and has been a longtime SoHo resident, expressed dismay over the incident. Sympathizing with the store's owner, Vincent Ferraro, Story said to ABC7NY, "He's been working super hard for a few years, trying to build a business here, and so I feel really bad. I mean, he's really dedicated to this business." The investigation into the heist is ongoing, with detectives pursuing leads to identify and apprehend those responsible.
