A double shooting in Avondale on Friday night left a 17-year-old girl and a woman injured. Both were hospitalized with gunshot wounds, according to local law enforcement.
The incident occurred around 11:50 p.m. near South Jean Elizabeth Place and West Flanagan Street, FOX 10 Phoenix reported. Police said the teen was shot in the hand and the woman in the calf. Both injuries are non-life-threatening.
