Parts of Tomball will have a power outage and road closures on Wednesday starting at 7 a.m. The work will include replacing poles, transformers, and lines on the 100–400 block of W. Main Street, according to FOX26 Houston.

City officials say power will be restored and streets reopened by 3 p.m., as noted by KHOU. The outage will affect the area one block north and two blocks south of Main Street, between Pine and Elm streets.

Main Street will stay open in both directions, but Oak, Cherry, Walnut, and Elm streets between Commerce and Fannin will be closed to vehicles and pedestrians. Traffic from Main Street will be diverted at Pine Street. Several alleys along Commerce, Market, and Fannin, between Elm and Pine, will also be closed. CenterPoint Energy said "around 65 to 70 utility trucks" will be working, and outages should be under eight hours. For questions, call (713) 207-2222, as per FOX26 Houston.
