On Saturday, a tragic collision on the Grand Parkway killed three members of a family, leaving only a 3-year-old survivor, the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office said. The crash occurred around 2 a.m. near the FM 1464 intersection when a wrong-way driver struck the family's northbound vehicle, as reported by KHOU.
A woman and a juvenile died at the scene, and a man later died from his injuries at the hospital, while the 3-year-old remains hospitalized in stable condition. The 28-year-old wrong-way driver was also injured and flown to a hospital, with the extent of their injuries currently unknown.
A Harris County family was involved in a collision when their vehicle was hit by a wrong-way driver. The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office is continuing the investigation and noted that the wrong-way driver’s condition was not disclosed. Investigators are working to determine the full circumstances of the crash. As ABC13 stated, "charges against the wrong-way driver are pending."
