A crash in south Charlotte last night left two people dead and two others injured. The incident occurred near the intersection of Red Rust Lane and Ardrey Kell Road. QC News reported that Medic arrived at the scene around 8 p.m. and confirmed the fatalities and injuries.
One of the injured was transported to Levine Children’s Hospital, while the other was taken to Novant Presbyterian Medical Center, according to WCNC. The condition of the patients has not been fully disclosed.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating the crash, and no details about the cause or any charges have been released. WSOC-TV confirmed the two deaths and the serious condition of the hospitalized patients. Further updates will be provided as the investigation continues.
