
Two individuals were taken to the hospital following a shooting incident in Southwest Baltimore. Yesterday, Baltimore Police were called to the 1000 block of West Lombard Street at around 4:35 p.m., in response to a firearm being discharged close to James McHenry Elementary School. The event occurred after the school had dismissed its students for the day.
Following the shooting, two men, aged 23 and 22, sought medical attention for their injuries – the older with a wound to the leg and the younger with a wound to the hand. According to Baltimore Witness, both victims are in stable condition. An ongoing investigation by the Southwest District Shooting detectives is underway, and the authorities are calling on the community for any information regarding the incident.
