A Vacaville Police officer responding to a dinner stop at a restaurant on Nut Tree Parkway arrested two men for firearms possession and public intoxication last Wednesday night. Edward Wondeh, 20, allegedly threatened a customer and was found with a loaded 0.45 caliber handgun concealed in his jacket.
In the same restaurant, 22-year-old Attila Finch was taken into custody after initially resisting commands, with officers discovering an unserialized 9mm handgun on him. Both men were booked into Solano County Jail following the incident, according to FOX40.
A disruption at a Vacaville restaurant began over a seating dispute. Wondeh and Finch were booked into Solano County Jail on felony charges for firearms and public intoxication, and Wondeh also faces a probation violation. Vacaville police said, "Right place, right time" and "...We are grateful our officer was nearby when this happened. This situation could have had a very different outcome, and we appreciate the calm cooperation of the individuals inside the restaurant," as reported by ABC10. The restaurant name and details of the dispute were not released, and the investigation is ongoing.
