Residents in the Southern Las Vegas Valley can look forward to a festive Cocoa and Cookies event on Saturday, hosted by Clark County Commissioner Michael Naft and Fire Chief Billy Samuels at Fire Station 30 on West Robindale Road. The gathering will run from 2 to 4 p.m. and will feature activities like cookie decorating, games, and music for families, as reported by the Clark County.
The event provides a cozy winter afternoon with hot cocoa and an opportunity to meet local firefighters. Commissioner Naft said, "This is a great opportunity for residents to meet their local firefighters and learn more about the vital services they provide to our community," according to the Clark County.
The Cocoa and Cookies event is a free, family-friendly community gathering at Fire Station 30, where attendees can tour the station, see a fire engine, and try using a firehose with firefighter guidance.
