
The White Settlement Police Department has provided an update regarding the status of their non-emergency phone lines. After experiencing an unexpected outage, the department has announced to the community that its lines are once again fully operational. "Our non emergency lines are back up. Thank you again for your patience!" was the celebratory announcement made by the police White Settlement Police Department on Facebook.
During the disconnection, community members in need of non-emergency assistance were temporarily inconvenienced and had to rely on an alternative phone number. The White Settlement Police Department, in an attempt to ensure continued communication with the public, provided a temporary line, "If you need to contact dispatch for a non emergency, we can be reached at 817-205-8644." Despite the challenges presented by the outage, the department stressed that the 911 lines were still fully operational and urged the public to only use 911 for true emergencies.
Such crucial lines of communication need to remain accessible for the community to report issues that do not require immediate emergency response. The non-emergency lines play a vital part in maintaining public safety and community welfare daily.
