Over the last couple of weeks, White Settlement Police Department has been taking the spirit of giving to heart with a swath of community engagement activities. Activities ranged from their support of charitable causes like the Shepherd's Toy Chest at First Church International to the Salvation Army Red Kettle Challenge, and an assortment of drives like Santa Cops, Holidays & Heroes, and Toys for Tots. The department also played a part in Lockheed's rollout of the first F-35 fighter jet for Finland, as per the White Settlement Police Department.
In a demonstration of grassroots generosity, a resident identified only as Liam was spotlighted for donating hundreds of dollars to a Christmas toy drive. In addition to individual contributions, the department recognized Officer Brown for his commendable efforts to curb impaired driving, a nod he received from MADD. Moreover, the department workers found a reason to smile thanks to Mrs. Adian, who donated snacks as a small token of appreciation for their service.
With the anticipation of the United States' 250th birthday on the horizon next July, the department is already gearing up for the celebrations by unveiling a commemorative badge to mark the occasion. The White Settlement Police Department made sure to wish everyone a joyous holiday season, stating, "Hope everyone had a great weekend! Stay safe and Merry Christmas!"
