Buffalo Wild Wings is dialing up a delivery-and-pickup-only BWW GO for Austin's Mueller area, with plans for a compact shop at 2201 Airport Blvd and an opening targeted for early 2026. Instead of the full sports bar scene, this spot will stick to the core playbook: wings, tenders, sandwiches, and sides, all built for grab-and-go and delivery.
How The To-Go Model Works
Orders will run through the usual digital suspects. Customers can use the Buffalo Wild Wings app or website, call in, or go through third-party delivery services like Uber Eats, DoorDash, and Grubhub, then pick up food from an in-store locker system, according to Community Impact. The BWW GO setup trims the menu for speed while hanging on to many of the chain's signature sauces and bundle deals.
Franchisee Says It Is Built For Busy Days
"If you don't have that time to go into a full Buffalo Wild Wings," said Donald Semien, chief operating officer of franchisee MJ Wings, explaining why the quick-hit format makes sense for customers on the move, Community Impact reports. Semien noted that MJ Wings opened a BWW GO in Round Rock this November and has full Buffalo Wild Wings sports bar locations in the pipeline for Hutto and Kyle in mid-2026 and Bastrop by late 2026 or early 2027.
Where It Fits In
Buffalo Wild Wings pitches the BWW GO brand as a streamlined takeout channel with exclusive online deals and menu items geared for pickup and delivery, according to the company's Buffalo Wild Wings page. The Mueller shop at 2201 Airport Blvd is set to join a growing list of compact Buffalo Wild Wings locations designed to handle fast orders and steady delivery traffic in busy neighborhoods.
