A woman, presumed to be in her mid-forties, tragically lost her life after being struck by an Amtrak train near Sun Valley on Sunday evening, officials said. The Los Angeles Fire Department reported to the scene in the 7400 block of North Coldwater Canyon Avenue around 7 p.m., where they discovered the woman deceased upon their arrival.
The identity of the woman has not been disclosed as of late Sunday night. According to a FOX LA report, no other injuries were reported in the incident.
