
A tragic incident occurred at a CVS store in Lindenhurst, New York, on Christmas when 23-year-old Edeedson Cine from West Babylon was fatally stabbed. He was found with a chest wound and transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, where he was pronounced dead, according to ABC7NY.
Suffolk County detectives are investigating the case, searching for the suspect described as a white man in his 40s. The suspect fled the scene on foot, leaving no immediate clues to aid in an arrest.
Edeedson Cine was fatally stabbed inside the CVS on East Montauk Highway around 7 p.m. on Christmas night. CVS said, "We’re devastated over the tragic stabbing that occurred inside our East Montauk Highway store on Christmas night. Edeedson Cine was a valued member of the store team, known for his strong work ethic. During his 10 months with CVS, he was a hard-working and dedicated employee and his loss will be felt by all of us," as reported by News12 Long Island. Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
