
A fatal hit-and-run incident in Southeast Baltimore claimed the life of a young man last night. WMAR-2 News reports that Baltimore Police officers arrived at the 2400 block of Orleans Street shortly before 10 p.m., where a 21-year-old had been hit by a vehicle that then fled the scene.
The victim, whose identity has not been released, succumbed to his injuries at a nearby hospital after the crash. After being struck by a car, authorities initiated an investigation by the department's Crash Team investigators, as reported by WBAL-TV. The details surrounding the circumstances of the incident have yet to be clarified as the investigation is still ongoing.
Baltimore City Police are urging witnesses or anyone with relevant information to come forward to aid in their search for the hit-and-run driver.
