A 15-year-old boy was shot in the stomach yesterday in East Harlem, the New York City Police Department reported. The incident took place around 5:45 p.m. near 1634 Madison Avenue, between East 109th and East 110th Streets, as reported by Patch.
The teen victim, whose identity has not been released, was quickly taken to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital, where authorities say he is expected to survive. Police responded to the scene, but no arrests have been made, and officials have not provided details on what led to the shooting, according to PIX11.
