
An 18-year-old has been charged in connection with a shooting that left a 20-year-old woman injured in Chicago earlier this week. The Chicago Police Department announced that Daniel May, from the 7700 block of S. Honore St., has been charged with one felony count of aggravated battery/discharge of a firearm. According to the Chicago Police Department, the arrest took place on Tuesday at approximately 6:52 p.m. May was apprehended in the 6700 block of S. Crandon Ave.
Chicago police officers claim to have swiftly identified and taken May into custody shortly after the incident occurred. He is alleged to have shot the female victim just minutes earlier in the same block where he was arrested.
