When officers arrived, they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to her upper body. The woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, received immediate medical attention and was transported to a local hospital.
Authorities have announced that they are currently questioning a person of interest in connection with the shooting, although no further details about this individual have been released.
