Deputies responded around 10:30 p.m. to the 5300 block of N. Sam Houston Parkway, where they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.

HCSO Lt. J. Wheeler told Click2Houston that early reports indicate a dispute between two men escalated, with both allegedly drawing handguns and firing at each other. The second man fled before deputies arrived, and investigators believe both men reside at the apartment complex. Authorities have not released the condition of the man who was hospitalized.
