The Apopka Police Department has issued an alert for a 76-year-old man, Carlos Zigrovic, who has been reported missing and is considered endangered after he did not return from a walk in the area of Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive on New Year’s Eve, ClickOrlando reported.
Zigrovic's last known whereabouts were around 2 p.m. yesterday, when he parked his car and set out on foot in the wildlife area; his car was found in the parking lot, indicating that he may still be in the vicinity of 2850 Lust Road. The sequence of events leading up to his disappearance is presently unclear and the subject of ongoing investigation.
Description of the missing man includes being 6 feet, 3 inches tall, about 175 pounds with blue eyes, gray hair, and likely wearing glasses, according to police descriptions. He was last seen donning light beige/green long pants and a long-sleeve blue shirt, as FOX 35 Orlando detailed.
