Pinellas Park residents, take note. Starting next Tuesday, 59th Street North will be out of commission from Park Blvd to the train tracks, all for the price of progress - or at least construction. If you're used to cruising through that area, you'll need a new game plan. The City of Pinellas Park took to social media to sound the alarm and spell out the detours: "Vehicle Traffic & Northbound Pedestrians: Follow posted detour signs using 60th Street or 58th Street."
Pedestrians aren’t left out. You can still walk on the north side of Park Blvd (east and west), but you won’t be able to go north on 59th. And if you need to charge an EV, you’ll have to use a station outside The Park Station area, since that lot will also be closed.
