The Auburn WA Police Department has shared an update on their social media platforms introducing two new members to their law enforcement team. Formerly sworn-in officers Pape Mbaye and Fletcher Walters have transitioned laterally into their roles and are reportedly keen to start their service within the Auburn community.
Last week, according to a post on Auburn WA Police Department's Facebook page, the induction of the new officers took place, a moment in which both Mbaye and Walters committed to their responsibilities as protectors of the local society. "Please join us in welcoming our newest officers, Pape Mbaye and Fletcher Walters," announced the department on the platform, raising an invitation to the residents to greet their new law enforcement officers.
Both Mbaye and Walters come to the Auburn force with backgrounds that suggest prior experience, as recognized by the term 'lateral officers,' which typically indicates they have served in law enforcement capacities elsewhere before joining the Auburn team.
