
Aurora police are asking for the public's help to find a 12-year-old girl who did not return home Thursday afternoon. The child, identified by police as Ro'Yanna, is about 5 feet, 1 inch tall and roughly 150 pounds. Officers have released a photo and description in hopes that someone recognizes her.
Description police released
As reported by 9News, the Aurora Police Department said Ro'Yanna, a student at Mrachek Middle School, was last seen wearing a navy blue Mrachek Titans sweatshirt with a white "M" and a green lightning bolt, blue jeans, and a white shirt with black dots and a red cherry design. Police said she was carrying a pink backpack when she was last seen.

The Mrachek Middle School website lists the campus at 1955 S. Telluride St. in Aurora, providing local context for where the student attends classes. Mrachek Middle School is part of Aurora Public Schools.
