The Bellevue Police Department is offering a behind-the-scenes look at law enforcement with the return of its Community Academy. This nine-week course, starting March 19, meets every Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. and helps locals learn about department operations.
Interested community members are encouraged to quickly apply as the experience promises to not only educate but also to potentially bridge the gap between the police force and Bellevue residents. In a social media post from Bellevue PD, they mentioned that the course will cover the agency's strategies to "keep Bellevue a safe place to live, work, and visit for everyone."
