Blooming Buns Bakehouse, the Las Vegas bakery known for its buttery brionuts and Dubai-inspired chocolate creations, is opening a second location in Spring Valley. The new shop is scheduled to debut in January, offering the same oversized cookiebuns and brioche-style beignets that have made the brand popular in Centennial Hills.
Where the new shop will be
According to the Neon Review-Journal, Blooming Buns’ second location is scheduled to open in January at 5840 S. Rainbow Blvd., Suites 140–145, near the Russell Road intersection, making the bakery more accessible to southwest Valley neighborhoods.
What to expect from the menu
Blooming Buns’ online ordering page lists brionuts, boxed Dubai chocolate strawberry and brownie options, brionut loaves, and signature cookiebuns among its best sellers. The bakery says it ferments its brioche dough overnight to create a light, buttery base for its cream fillings and glazes. From Durango to Downtown to Rainbow
Blooming Buns first opened in summer 2020 on North Durango Drive, as reported by Eater Vegas. The bakery briefly operated a location at Downtown Container Park in 2024, which has since closed. The new Rainbow Boulevard shop will be the brand’s first full-scale expansion since the original Durango location opened.
Opening timing and what to watch
The exact opening date in January has not been announced, so the bakery’s website and social media remain the best sources for updates and preorder windows. Until the Rainbow Boulevard location opens, the Durango shop continues to serve as Blooming Buns’ main storefront for ordering and pickup. If the January timeline is met, a soft opening may occur before a formal grand-opening event.
