Officers were called around 7:30 a.m. to the 1000 block of Vance Jackson Road, where they found a 28‑year‑old man lying on a sidewalk in the Starbucks parking lot with a gunshot wound to the upper part of his body. The victim told police he was in an altercation with a woman on the 3600 block of Fredericksburg Road when an unknown man fired a shot.
