Tampa's local stage is set to witness the homecoming of Broadway star, Alexis Carra, this Sunday at the New Tampa Performing Arts Center (NTPAC). Carra, who's no stranger to the limelight with a versatile career spanning from praised performances in "Wicked" and "Sweet Charity" on Broadway to notable appearances on the TV shows "Mixology" and "Grey's Anatomy", is returning to New Tampa for an intimate 90-minute show at 3 p.m., according to Hillsborough County's official newsroom.
The Hillsborough native, with a strong local lineage that traces back four generations, isn't just about spotlighting her own talent this time. She's set to share the stage with pianist David Estevez, and will be joined by Emilia Sargent and Alexia Sky Colon for a couple of duets. Fans and new spectators alike can catch the performance, with tickets priced at $10-25 based on seating preference and available for purchase online.
Aside from performing on stage, Carra leads the nonprofit Broader than Broadway, which expands access to the performing arts for youth. This year’s performance will highlight her experiences with adulthood and motherhood, featuring melodies from hit musicals that resonate personally, according to the county newsroom.
Last season, Carra's show was a hit, earning praise for its intimate look at her journey back to Tampa. The 2025–26 NTPAC season continues this trend, offering music, dance, and film that showcase local flavor and high-caliber talent. With Carra’s latest performance, the arts center ensures the Tampa community experiences top-quality entertainment that resonates.
