
The search is on for James Thomas Kluttz, a 78-year-old man reported missing by the Cabarrus County Sheriff's Office. Residents of Cabarrus County are being asked to assist in locating Kluttz after he disappeared from his residence on Lower Stone Church Road yesterday. The Sheriff's Office, in a social media post, stated that Mr. Kluttz was last seen around 7:40 a.m. by a family member, but his absence was not realized until approximately 4:00 p.m. the same day.
According to the Cabarrus Sheriff's Office, Mr. Kluttz is believed to be wearing camouflage overalls and a red and black toboggan. He has diabetes, and is identifiable by a Libre 3 insulin monitor on his arm. Despite being blind in his left eye, the missing man is otherwise described as physically fit.
The Sheriff's Office asks anyone with relevant information or video evidence to come forward immediately by contacting them at 704-920-3000, or 911 in an emergency.
