Residents of District 2 in Charlotte have a new date and location to mark on their calendars for civic engagement. City Council Member Malcolm Graham is set to host a town hall meeting to discuss pertinent district issues, including the I-77 South expansion project, local crime statistics, public safety trends, and the overall growth and development within the district.
The event aims to fully inform residents and provide a platform for open dialogue between the community and local government representatives. "You're invited to join Council Member Malcolm Graham at an upcoming town hall about key issues impacting your district," noted a social media post from City of Charlotte Government. Those looking to get updated on the highway project or to simply better understand the district's dynamics are encouraged to attend.
The town hall is scheduled to take place next Thursday, from 6-8 p.m., at the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, which can be found at 3400 Beatties Ford Road. The original announcement came via a social media post published by the City of Charlotte Government tomorrow.
