Charlotte Fire Department crews performed a vehicle extrication at the intersection of Beatties Ford Road and Sunset Road. According to the Charlotte Fire Department's Facebook post, the incident began at approximately 4:06 p.m., with Engine 28, Ladder 28, Rescue 10, and a mutual aid crew from Long Creek responding.
The patient was freed from the vehicle by 4:36 p.m. and transported to a local hospital. The individual’s condition has not been released.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating the crash. No additional details about the cause or contributing factors have been provided.
