
Charlotte residents can look forward to a burst of sunshine and a steady rise in temperatures over the next few days, according to the latest weather forecasts. The National Weather Service (NWS) predicts a sunny day, with temperatures climbing to a comfortable high near 57 degrees; the calm winds of the morning are expected to gain strength, becoming a southwest breeze reaching 5 to 9 mph.
Mild conditions will continue tonight with mostly clear skies and lows around 38°F. Southwest winds will be 6–8 mph. Wednesday will be partly sunny with highs near today’s levels, but winds may gust up to 23 mph.
The NWS forecasts a slight chance of rain Wednesday night between 9 p.m. and 3 a.m., with temperatures dropping to around 30°F. Winds will shift from the southwest to north-northwest after midnight at 7–9 mph.
Looking toward the latter part of the week, the NWS assures us of sunny skies on Thursday with a brisk high near 39 degrees. It seems the winds, unabated by any obstacle, will blow from the north-northwest at a bracing pace of 10 to 13 mph, supplemented by gusts challenging the stalwart at as high as 23 mph. The nighttime will herald a clear sky and a piercing low around 19 degrees.
The NWS forecasts sunny skies Friday with a high near 44°F and mostly clear conditions at night with lows around 32°F. This weekend will be mostly sunny with highs near 50°F and partly cloudy nights with lows around 27°F.
