The Cherry Hill Police Department has promoted 11 officers to higher ranks. Mayor Fleisher presided over the ceremony and administered the Oath of Office to the newly promoted officers, who were joined by family, friends, and colleagues.
According to a social media post by the Cherry Hill Police Department, four officers—Jordan Hutnik, Matthew Tilton, Geoffrey Byrne, and Timothy Sost—have been promoted to the Rank of Detective. Five officers—Daniel Lyons, Dennis Moore, Anthony Amato, Vincent Kaulinis, and Christine Towne, along with Gerald Gares—were promoted to Sergeant. Christopher Hendy was promoted to Lieutenant, further expanding the department’s leadership team.
The department stated that these promotions reflect its core values of honor, service, and integrity. The officers will assume their new roles and continue serving the Cherry Hill community.
