Following an investigation into the polling issues during the 2025 General Election, Chester County officials have received a report on the causes of the pollbook error. On December 19, forensic specialists from Fleck Eckert Klein McGarry reviewed data and conducted interviews before submitting their findings to the County Commissioners, who also serve as the Board of Elections, and senior county administration leaders.

Chester County officials are reviewing the investigation’s findings and preparing measures to prevent similar issues in future elections. The error highlighted how technical problems in digital voting systems can have significant consequences and affect public confidence in the electoral process.

Chester County residents interested in the election investigation can attend a public meeting on January 27. The County Board of Elections will discuss the issues and corrective measures at 7:00 p.m. in the Commissioners' Board Room on the 6th Floor of 313 W. Market Street, West Chester, PA.

For those unable to attend in person, the investigative report and Chester County’s proposed corrective measures will be shared at the meeting and through official county channels. The full summary and updates are also available online via the Chester County website.
