A military ID is required to participate in the free drive-through service.

On the same day, veterans can access legal guidance through the ‘Ask-A-Lawyer’ event, held in partnership with Three Rivers Legal Services. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon in the Military Affairs and Veterans Department (MAVD) offices at City Hall, Suite 175. Veterans interested in attending are asked to call 904-255-5550 to schedule an appointment.

The Military Affairs and Veterans Department (MAVD) will host another ‘Ask-A-Lawyer’ session on Thursday, in partnership with Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, Inc. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at the MAVD offices, with veterans asked to call ahead to schedule an appointment.
