Slow down, stay alert, and always wear your helmet properly," the Clay County Sheriff's Office urged on Facebook.
Deputy Jackson is specifically mentioned in the social media update, advising students on the proper way to navigate school crosswalks. Riding across these areas can increase the risk of accidents, and as such, "when using a school crosswalk, walk your bike or scooter - don’t ride it," Deputy Jackson is quoted in the post.
