The Cleveland Fire Department is ringing in the new year with a series of promotions within its ranks. As shared in a social media post by the Cleveland Fire, six of the department's members were promoted to the rank of Battalion Chief. The newly minted Chiefs include Paul Legeza, Jeffrey Dudley, Christopher Keener, George Greer, Andrew Gorski, and Matthew Corrigan. Each of them swore an oath and received a badge that signifies their new authority and the heightened responsibility that accompanies it.
In addition to the battalion chiefs, two firefighters rose to the rank of Captain — Terrence Roach and Ronald Jenkins. This new role places them in critical operational command positions, setting strategies and leading their crews in the intense, often unpredictable dance of firefighting and emergency response.
