Coconino County has launched a survey to gather public input on its new Roadway Safety Action Plan, aiming to reduce traffic-related fatalities. The plan will combine detailed accident data, proven safety measures, and community feedback to target areas most in need, according to the Coconino County.
"Improving roadway safety is a shared priority for County leadership, our residents and everyone who travels our roads," said Public Works Director Christopher Tressler. The initiative emphasizes the essential role of residents in helping the county identify high-risk locations and improve overall road safety, as reported by the Coconino County.
Coconino County is asking residents to provide input on dangerous roads, near-misses, and areas needing safety improvements through a short online survey. The feedback will help the County prioritize projects and allocate funds. The Roadway Safety Action Plan combines data and local input to guide safety measures. Survey details are on the County’s website.
