The Concord Fire Department quickly contained a fire on Main St SW. Smoke was reported from a detached garage, and Engine Co. 3 extinguished the fire within minutes, according to the City of Concord, NC Fire Department's Post.
Firefighters arrived at 3:02 p.m. on January 26 and had the fire under control in less than ten minutes, according to the Concord Fire Department. Units on scene included Engine Cos. 1, 3, 4, 8; Rescue Co. 3; Truck Co. 1; and Battalion Chiefs 1 and 3. The Concord Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the blaze.
