On a post shared to their official Facebook page, the department proudly congratulated Brian “Guido” Hutchins on his promotion to the rank of Fire Captain. The commendation, indicating a celebrated career marked by dedication and skill, acknowledges Hutchins as a member of the fire service since April 2001.
Joining as a fresh recruit part of class 4-1 his journey, traced back two decades ago, has led him to this new leadership position, Captain Hutchins will be taking command at Engine Co. 9, a unit that, like all others across the nation, stands ready to dive into peril for the sake of community safety.
