Shoppers in Grapevine can now grab a couch and a slice in the same stop. Roma's Italian Bistro opened Friday inside Stacy Furniture & Design in Grapevine, bringing New York-style pizza, subs and a lineup of made-from-scratch Italian sauces to the South Main shopping strip. The family-run spot is serving by-the-slice pies and full sandwiches alongside classic pasta plates.
Owner Romeo Manellari told Community Impact that the Grapevine outpost is his second store after a Grand Prairie location he opened in 2015. Manellari said the kitchen makes its sauces from scratch and is focusing on New York-style pies such as Hawaiian, barbecue and margherita, according to the report.
